Ang "BATANG MAKULAY"

In Davao, Bantay Bata 163, in partnership of Research and Publication Office with the Ateneo de Davao University, create an exceptional way of developing and educating the minds of our children. As a fund raising activity, "Ang Batang Makulay" Coloring Book Series was made not only to entertain the children through creative pictures but also to help our unfortunte kids who are in need.

Bantay Bata 163 Davao's Coloring Book Series is divided into three volumes: "Mabuting Pag-uugali", Karapatan at Tungkulin" and "Katutubong Laro", designed by our very committed national artist Kublai Millan.

"Gusto kong ibalik 'yung mga values nang nakaraan", Kublai said as he focuses on the values, rights and responsibilities and old time games. "By looking backwards, we get to make up good values we think that also the coloring book is an alternative way to impart this value", he added.

Aside from the good values that the children will be learning in the coloring book, it will also help the children be more imaginative and artistic on their own little ways... while giving importance to the values and traditions that we ought to keep and to treasure.

Father Bert Alejo of Research and Publication Office of the Ateneo de Davao says that it is a need to help the children develop their imagination and even more on the values that they needed to learn.

Bantay Bata 163 Davao continuously make efforts in developing the mind and character of the Filipino children.
