Summer Camp 2007

Like many kids, the children of Bantay Bata Children’s Home look forward to the summer season. Every year, they are given the time to relax and enjoy fun activities with SUMMER CAMP 2007. For our children, being separated from their parents and enduring the difficult times that they went through in their young lives, it is important to give them activities to help them not only to develop their skills and talent but at the same time it is also a healing process in the form of fun.

"Malipayon ko, te. Malipayon mi kay daghan mi kaayo ug gihimo, ganahan kaayo ko lingaw kaayo (I am so happy. I'm happy because we have so much fun things to do and I really enjoy it)" said 'Rina'.

The Maharlika Group of Artist joined the Bantay Bata kids in the Summer Camp. Here, they taught the children musical intstruments and theatre activities.



It was a fun 3 day's worth of activities where the children shared their happy memories and emotions; with group and individual sessions for art therapy and creative theatre presentations.
